It is very important to us that we pass on our enthusiasm for virtual reality. That's why we put a lot of thought into the procedure and process beforehand.

• • Please decide at the beginning which VR game you would like to play.
  • You can view the games in advance on our website. If you click on the games, you will find short descriptions of the games.
  • At the beginning, we explain how to put on the VR goggles and adjust the size. We then describe the basic function of the controllers and point out the spatial limits. You will be standing on round mats and you should not leave them, otherwise you will fall out of the game.
  • If you don't yet know what you want to play, we will give you a recommendation on site. As you no longer have any insight into the real world, experience has shown that it is reassuring to know that someone is looking out for you.
  • As soon as we see that you are doing well on your own, we will withdraw, but always stay close if you have questions or need help. If you already have gaming experience or wish to, we will of course leave you completely alone.

Of course you can also play if you are late. Your place remains reserved as booked.

However, it is not possible to join an ongoing VR game, so we can only offer you a single-player game of your choice for the remaining time.

A maximum of 4 people can play at the gaming stations at the same time. Depending on the game, 4 against 4 can also be played. Up to 6 players can compete with/against each other in the gaming lounge. Seating for up to 8 people.

We are guided by the manufacturers of VR glasses, who only recommend use for ages 12 and up. Children under 12 are therefore only allowed to use our VR games when accompanied by their parents if they already have gaming experience.

A minimum age of 12 years or the presence of an adult is also required to use the gaming area.

This depends on the game, in every game description you will also find the number of possible players!

When selecting games, it is always visible in which language the game is available.

A game lasts about an hour, but it depends on you and your skill. If you don't complete the mission in an hour and there are no other guests booked after that, the game master can give you a little longer.

Yes, you are connected to each other in the game: you see the avatars of the other participants and their movements and you are acoustically connected to each other via a headset and can/should coordinate with each other.

Just come in normal clothes. You don't need to dress casually.

Naturally. Our VR glasses can be worn over most glasses. The pads have recesses so as not to put any strain on the temples.

Yes, we do not change the VR glasses. But the pads of our VR glasses are equipped with easy-care artificial leather covers. The contact surfaces are completely disinfected after each use.

Yes, there is always a game master on site and available to answer any questions you may have. You can also get clues from the question mark in the game or call the game master during the game.

No, not at all. We have games for everyone and are happy to advise you so that you can find a game that suits you. When you play VR games for the first time, you will receive detailed instructions so that you feel comfortable with your VR experience.

Although we only use the most modern technology, it cannot be ruled out that when using VR technology (just like other screen applications) dizziness, cramps, blackouts, nausea, visual disturbances, eye pain, disorientation and consciousness disorders, headaches and even epileptic seizures can occur. These symptoms are called “motion sickness”. This usually occurs because the eyes see something that is not perceived by the body's other senses (similar to motion sickness). This effect varies in people and does not occur at all or rarely in the games we selected. We particularly warn pregnant women and older people that there is a risk of falling or being frightened.

However, like all virtual reality locations, we strongly advise against using VR technology if you have certain health restrictions. These include:

• • People with heart failure
  • People with serious illnesses
  • People with serious mental illnesses
  • Heavily pregnant women
  • Those prone to seizures and epilepsy
  • People who react physically and/or psychologically sensitively to rapid image sequences, fast movements or electrical voltage fields

If one or more of the above restrictions apply, the customer must inform the Virtual Area staff before the game begins or when booking. The same applies to known phobias or other problems, such as fear of heights. We also recommend taking a break after playing for 1 hour.

With VR games you move in the game world, but not in reality. As a result, the ear's vestibular system sends different signals to the brain than the eye. This phenomenon is also called Motion Sickness known. It often occurs in high-speed games, such as racing games, in virtual reality. But every person reacts differently to motion sickness. Our games offer little or no risk of this.

Basically, playing in virtual reality is not dangerous. Nevertheless, we advise certain groups of people against a VR experience:

  • People with heart failure
  • People with serious mental illnesses
  • Those prone to seizures and epilepsy

We offer various drinks and smaller snacks in the gaming room. Please understand that bringing your own drinks and/or food is generally not permitted. Exceptions to this only exist after prior agreement.

At Virtual Escape Rooms you can expect exciting and challenging escape rooms as well as many different games on Nintendo Switch. These activities are perfect for corporate events, school classes, stag parties and birthday parties. Together you will immerse yourself in adventurous worlds full of puzzles and action, where your cooperation is crucial. Food and drinks can also be provided if the existing offering is not sufficient.

You can purchase vouchers from us at any time, both for VR escape games and for the gaming station!

If you would like to redeem vouchers on site, please always present them before the start of the game. Otherwise these cannot be taken into account for organizational reasons.
